After pursuing education and adventure on the West and East coasts, David returned to Utah to teach Philosophy at Utah Valley University.

At Utah Valley University, David is Professor of Philosophy and Director of the Center for the Study of Ethics.

Off campus, David enjoys exploring the soaring peaks of the Wasatch Mountains and the red rock canyons of the Colorado Plateau in all their surprising sublimity.
